Notre Dame High School is an 11-18 highly successful and oversubscribed Roman Catholic school with Academy status. We are part of the St John the Baptist Catholic MAT. We are a 2024 Ofsted rated "Good with Outstanding features" school, one of only 37 EEF Research Schools nationally, and a designated Teaching School Hub. The school is in the centre of Norwich, a historic city with easy access to the Norfolk Broads and Norfolk Coast, making it a fantastic place to live and work. We are looking to appoint a dynamic Head of Mathematics with the vision to lead our highly successful Maths Department.
Key Responsibilities
* Strategic leadership of the Maths curriculum and its implementation
* Leading continuous subject‑specific professional development of maths teachers
* Subject‑specific quality assurance to support student success
* Monitoring of student progress and leadership of strategic responses
* Working closely with the leadership team on whole‑school strategy as a Senior Middle Leader
* Operational responsibility for effective deployment of maths staff and resources
* Modelling high standards of pedagogy in own teaching practice
* Modelling ethos driven leadership
