We are looking for a talented and motivated Line Chef to join our team at The Dragonfly Hotel in Bury St Edmunds.
With the historic town centre just a few minutes stroll away, there is easy access to top Bury St Edmunds shopping, stunning parks and annual festivals. There really is so much to do in the local area!
As a Line Chef in small kitchen team you will be tasked with cooking food to an outstanding level to provide to all of our customers and we are looking for experience in either a hotel or pub environment.
We are looking for you to be a Chef with:
* Fantastic cooking knowledge- a real enthusiasm for all things food!
* Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
* The ability to work well under pressure
* The ability to deliver food to high standards consistently
* Outstanding attention to detail
* High standards of health and hygiene
* Clear communication skills
The Line Chef role will require:
* Preparing and cooking items on the menu- to company specifications and recipe cards
* Deliver great dishes in good time
* Complying with food safety and other health and hygiene regulations, and rules as set out by the business
* Organising and labelling the kitchen and it's storage
* Managing and ordering in stock
* Keeping wastage to a minimum
