The role As a Senior Project Manager, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will work within the Skynet project delivery team, having responsibility for driving project management control and delivery of Business Operations projects. The Senior Project Manager will be financially accountable for the success of their projects and will therefore need to apply robust project control and governance. Day-to-day, you’ll provide end-to-end project management support for internal projects throughout the Business Operation workstream – ensuring robust requirement capture, scoping, technical and commercial solutions and the generation of robust delivery plans. Delivery of IT projects and ad hoc change programmes - ensuring outcomes are aligned to strategic goals and business needs. Risk management; Manage the Business Unit risk register, ensuring risks are proactively identified, monitored, and mitigated. Support our facilities management team in coordinating projects ad hoc - ensuring alignment with contract requirements and value for money. Providing overall operational and strategic management of assigned projects within your workstream / project team, collaborating with relevant professional leads to allocate and control project resources to meet delivery targets. Continuous improvement - Identifying, reviewing and applying lessons learnt for future requirements This role is full time 37 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with 2 days in the office/onsite and 3 days working from home. Agile working may be available to employees in some instances, applying the principles of fairness and consistency whilst ensuring that the overriding business needs can be appropriately met. Essential Experience Of The Senior Project Manager Operational / in-service support project management experience Experience managing large complex projects Able to manage multiple projects and interface with other project leaders Good commercial awareness and an understanding of commercial management Qualifications For The Senior Project Manager AMP PMQ or equivalent Security Clearance The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
