Nature and Scope:
The role of the uniformed Venue Operations Coordinator is to operate the effective provision of security for the RFU, Twickenham Stadium, venue and its environs. Based at the stadium complex and works within a team that operates on a scheduled rota covering a 24 hours,7 day a week, 365 day a year period.
This role requires the individual to respond to all requests for security services and first aid, operate all life support and security systems, maintain accurate logs and reports, follow processes and procedures and generally assure the safety and welfare of all staff and visitors across the venue.
The venue has a spectator capacity of 82,000 and the complex includes a 156 bedroom Marriott Hotel, a Virgin Active leisure club, conference and banqueting facilities, a performing arts centre, a rugby store and office accommodation, making the stadium a 365 day a year business.
What will you be doing?
Some key responsibilities include:
5. Providing first class customer service.
6. Welcoming and assisting visitors, contractors and staff.
7. Controlling and recording vehicular and pedestrian entry and exit.
8. Conducting site patrols as directed.
9. Maintaining the secure integrity of the venue.
10. Issue and return of keys and monitor their use and return.
11. Monitoring of the CCTV system, reacting to alarms.
12. Responding to incidents and emergencies.
13. Conduct initial investigations and present findings.
14. Report writing.
15. Provide security operations to corporate events.
16. Working as part of match/ event day team as selected and rota dependant. Reacting to and reporting on Health & Safety and or facility maintenance issues.
17. Produce Staff and visitor passes and managing their use.
18. Actively collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the development and delivery of the current strategic, business and operational plans
19. Act as an ambassador for, and promote the best interests of the RFU, including the promotion of the RFU core values.

24. SIA door supervisor.
25. First aid at work qualified (3 day course).
26. Full UK driving license.
27. IOSH Working Safely.
28. Fire Warden Trained.
29. Hold a level 2 award security qualification (or be prepared to work towards achieving this in the first year of employment).
30. Security experience in a customer facing environment.
31. Experience working in a control room and able to operate, CCTV, access control and fire prevention/alarm systems.
32. Passionate about delivering a great customer experience to internal and external stakeholders.
33. Effective communication at a variety of levels.
34. Effective written and notetaking skills.

Additional Information:
43. Salaried working hours will be no more than 48 hours a week on average and the rota worked may be subject to change at the discretion and operational requirement of the RFU.
