Overview We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Staff to join our team at Runa Farm. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring an exceptional experience. This position requires excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for customer service, as you will be responsible for managing guest interactions and supporting the overall operations of our establishment.
Duties
Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements.
Manage reservations and maintain an organised waiting list during busy periods.
Provide menus and offer recommendations based on guest preferences.
Take orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen staff efficiently.
Ensure that the dining area is clean, tidy, and well-presented at all times.
Address any guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.
Assist with cash handling and processing payments as required.
Skills
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly demeanour.
Strong organisational abilities to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Previous experience in a customer service role is advantageous but not essential.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
A keen attention to detail to ensure high standards of service are maintained.
