Location: Brize Norton, England, United Kingdom (on-site). Security clearance: Eligibility to gain UK SC Security Clearance. Travel: Very infrequent. Employment type: Full time, Mon-Fri, 35 hours.
Airbus Operations Limited is offering the Safety & Compliance Engineer (Investigator/Auditor) role at Brize Norton. The position supports airworthiness and compliance activities in collaboration with the Royal Air Force under the MOD contract.
Responsibilities
* Carry out audits within MRP Pt.145 and Pt.M in accordance with local procedures and regulatory requirements.
* Conduct investigations and root cause analysis within MRP Pt.145 and Pt.M as directed by the HO Safety and Compliance.
* Manage investigations, including liaison with Senior Leadership Team and delegated points of contact.
* Promote active Compliance and Safety Management System (SMS) cultures across the organization.
* Participate in departmental and organizational meetings as required.
* Support organizational continuous improvement programs and projects.
About You (Qualifications)
* Working knowledge of MRP and CAA Pt.145 and Pt.M regulations.
* Experience or strong interest in performing investigations and root cause analysis.
* Experience in performing audits to a recognised standard.
* Good working knowledge of Quality Management Systems and Safety Management Systems.
* Good level of aviation engineering knowledge.
