We’re looking for a Fine Art Shipping Co-ordinator to support the handling and movement of high-value artworks and antiques across global networks.
This role requires precision, organisation, and a strong understanding of how sensitive, high-value items should be managed from collection through to final delivery.
About the role
You will be responsible for coordinating shipments end-to-end, ensuring every piece is handled, documented, and delivered safely and on time.
You’ll work closely with clients, galleries, collectors, and logistics partners, maintaining a high standard of service throughout.
Key responsibilities
* Coordinate domestic and international shipments for fine art and antiques
* Arrange transport with couriers, freight forwarders, and logistics partners
* Prepare and manage all shipping documentation (invoices, customs, permits, insurance)
* Track shipments and maintain accurate inventory records
* Ensure correct packing, handling, and transportation standards are followed
* Communicate clearly with clients, galleries, and partners at every stage
* Manage risk, insurance, and compliance requirements
* Resolve any issues during transit efficiently and professionally
Requirements
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience in fine art shipping or a related field
* Strong knowledge of packing and handling high-value or fragile items
* Understanding of international shipping regulations and customs processes
* Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple shipments
* Strong communication and client-facing skills
* Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
* Comfortable using logistics/shipping systems
* Valid driver’s licence
