Part-Qualified Management Accountant
Milton Keynes - £38,000 - £42,000 + benefits
A well-established and growing logistics and distribution business based in Milton Keynes is looking to appoint a Part-Qualified Management Accountant to support the finance team through a period of growth and increasing reporting requirements.
This is a hands-on role offering strong exposure to management accounts, business partnering, and operational finance, ideal for someone actively studying ACCA / CIMA and looking to step up.
The Role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for:
Assisting with monthly management accounts (P&L, balance sheet, variance analysis)
Accruals, prepayments, and journals
Supporting budgeting and forecasting cycles
Cost analysis across warehousing, transport, and operational spend
Business partnering with non-finance stakeholders
Balance sheet reconciliations
Supporting year-end audit and statutory reporting
Continuous improvement of processes and reporting
The Person
Part-qualified ACCA / CIMA (or equivalent)
Previous experience in a management accounts or assistant accountant role
Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP)
Confident communicator, comfortable working with operational teams
Proactive, detail-oriented, and keen to progress
