All beds are handmade to order and tailored to each individual customer. Our skilled craftsman and women use traditional bed making techniques to hand sew, side-stitch and tuft every mattress, resulting in beautiful beds that are of the highest quality. We are seeking a Process Operative to work within the Mattress Department, Leeds. The Process Operative will ensure that mattresses are produced to the correct specification (checking for any flaws) and in line with overall quality criteria. Hours: Monday - Thursday, 6am 4pm Key Responsibilities: The Clip/Build role will involve: Reading production tickets to ensure each unit has the correct border/panels. Securing the correct size roll of border lock to the perimeter of the unit. Securing the border to the unit with a handheld clipping gun. Layer the fillings and spring components before tagging the top panel to the border. Meeting production targets. Meeting daily deadlines for mattress output. Quality checking each product produced. The mattress wrapper role will involve: Using hand held terminals to scan the finished product Following the instructions on screen to wrap the mattress using the relevant colour bag and include the correct packaging instructions.
