Finance Administrator
Cheltenham
Up to £29,000 (Depending on experience)

Must Have’s to be a Finance Administrator
* Part-qualified AAT or qualified by experience
* Strong attention to detail with high levels of accuracy
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook, Excel will be used daily
* Ability to prioritise and manage conflicting deadlines
* Professional, positive attitude and strong team ethic
* Customer-focused approach with good communication skills
Nice to Have’s
* Experience within general insurance or regulated financial services
* Familiarity with SUN / Q&A accounting software
* Exposure to management accounts or cash forecasting
* Understanding of risk management or first-line risk responsibilities
So, what will you be doing?
* Maintaining accurate accounting records and ledger data
* Preparing and processing journals and reference data for review
* Reconciling balance sheet accounts and resolving discrepancies
* Issuing sales invoices and statements, monitoring and chasing outstanding balances
* Processing receipts, banking and matching payments to debts
* Monitoring cash movements and balances
* Calculating commissions, premiums, claims, accruals, prepayments and provisions
* Supporting the preparation of management accounts, dashboards and KPIs
* Assisting with cash analysis, forecasts and levy reporting
* Settling payments in line with delegated authorities
