Logistics Administrator (Part-Time)
Location: Redditch
Hours: Wednesday – Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm
Salary: £28,000 – £29,000 pro rata
About the Role
Our client, a busy air and road freight distribution business based in Redditch, is looking for a reliable and organised Logistics Administrator to support the operations team with day-to-day administrative duties.
This role is heavily administration focused and would suit someone with strong attention to detail who enjoys working in a fast-paced logistics environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Filing and maintaining accurate transport and delivery records
* Closing PODs (Proof of Deliveries) and updating internal systems
* Managing and maintaining operational spreadsheets and trackers
* Handling and escalating delivery or service issues to the relevant departments
* Supporting the operations team with general administrative tasks
* Responding to customer and internal email enquiries
* Ensuring all documentation is completed accurately and efficiently
* Assisting with data entry and system updates
* Helping maintain smooth day-to-day operational processes
The Ideal Candidate
* Previous administration experience within logistics, transport, or distribution preferred
* Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
* Confident using Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office packages
* Able to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
* Good communication skills both written and verbal
* Proactive and able to work independently as well as part of a team
* Reliable with a positive and professional attitude
