The organisation is a market leading engineering firm that deliver their well-developed product portfolio to the UK market.

To cope with the current workload and in line with their expansion plans they the need to recruit for a Mechanical Design Engineer on a permanent basis.
In this role as a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing products for my client from concept to manufacture as well as providing modifications and alterations to existing designs and products.
There could also be some reverse engineering work for products that are in the field and have failed.
You will be working on multiple products and projects simultaneously.
Essential Requirements: Minimum of HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering or similar At least 2 years' experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer or similar 3D CAD (Ideally Solidworks or Inventor) Desirable Requirements: Understanding of P&ID's / Pipework Designing for Sheet Metal / Fabrication This is a very exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer to work for a leading organisation who operate at the forefront of their market.
