Role Overview
* Location: Watford (3 days per week in office)
* Package: £85,000 - £90,000 + benefits
* Industry: Technology / Retail Systems
What You’ll Be Doing
* Own and deliver the test strategy for retail and corporate systems, covering the full software development lifecycle.
* Lead and coordinate all testing across retail terminals, business systems, and vendor solutions.
* Manage and maintain in-house test labs to ensure high-quality system validation.
* Produce clear reporting on quality KPIs, forecast trends, and ensure visibility of progress.
* Champion innovation in testing practices, including the use of automation and AI-driven approaches.
* Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement.
* Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure robust and efficient test outcomes.
Main Skills Needed

* Proven experience managing testing across retail and/or corporate business systems.
* Strong track record of delivering test strategies and measuring success against quality KPIs.
* Skilled in balancing priorities and delivering under pressure.
* Excellent stakeholder management across technical and non-technical teams.
* Experience leading and mentoring high-performing QA or test teams.
