Job Title: Secretary / Administrator
Location: Woodview Child Development Centre, Crow Wood Health Park, Crow Wood Lane, Widnes, Halton WA8 3LZ
Hours: 37 hours per week Monday – Friday 8.30am – 4.30pm

Role type: Temporary for 1 month with possibility of extension

What you’ll be responsible for:
* Provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the community clinics and associated health professionals and will actively participate and contribute to the development of the service
* Provide a customer focused service to the users of the clinics to incorporate the co-ordination of appointments and workload management for the clinics liaising with all staff
* Audio typing duties to type medical letters
* Manage/ book clinic and meeting rooms within the premises and keep room availability updated as appropriate.
* Provide a front line service for all service user enquiries, responding to telephone and face to face enquiries in an efficient, tactful and professional manner, redirecting calls, taking action as appropriate
* Management of the patient booking system to include building of clinic sessions, management of waiting lists and breaches, data cleansing
* Deal with all internal/external mail and redistribution to relevant department
This role may require you to show evidence of vocational level 3 qualification or at least 2 years relevant experience.
You’ll learn the following whilst working at the trust:
1. An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS
2. Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times
3. A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation
You’ll have the following skills/experience:
* Administration experience
* NHS experience (desirable)
* Experience of working on SystmOne is desirable.
* Audio typing (essential)
* Competent with Microsoft office programmes
