Your focus as a Senior Care Assistant will be to support and work alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, creating a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors, and staff. Responsibilities include:
* Monitoring the wellbeing of each resident, being aware of any changes impacting care and care plans, ensuring that new needs are met, and records are updated accordingly.
* Participating in person-centred care planning, including implementation, monitoring, and monthly evaluations.
* Supporting residents with their medication requirements.
* Undertaking staff supervisions and supporting staff development.
* Acting as a key contact for residents, their families, visitors, and health and social care professionals, ensuring requests are addressed and concerns escalated.

Our ideal candidate will have:
* An NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
* At least 2 years of experience in a similar care environment.
* Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
* A positive attitude towards supporting and nurturing residents and staff.
* Flexibility and responsiveness to a range of responsibilities.
