Summary
AS A REGISTERED DIETITIAN, you will be responsible for coordinating all phases of nutrition care including nutrition assessment, care planning, monitoring, education, and counseling of hospitalized patients, long-term care facility residents, and outpatients in various settings. You will perform duties in support of and in compliance with performance improvement plans, The Joint Commission, and other licensing and regulatory agencies.
This position will cover both Penn Highlands Huntingdon and Penn Highlands Tyrone.
Qualifications
* Four-year Bachelor's degree in Food and Nutrition, Dietetics, Nutritional Sciences, Human Nutrition, or a comparable major
* Successful completion of a coordinated program or dietetic internship of at least 900 hours under the supervision of a registered dietitian
* Registered Dietitian (RD) by The Commission on Dietetic Registration (Candidates eligible for registration may be considered with the understanding that registration will be achieved within 60 days of hire)
* Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist (LDN) by the PA Board of Dietetics and Nutrition
