Compensation: £13.50 / hour
We are looking for a full or part time passionate, big personality and energetic Shift Manager who can help us to lead from the front and create exceptional dining experiences at our new Chiswick fresh pasta restaurant. We will be cooking and serving fresh pasta and opening doors to one of the coolest locations in town.
As Shift Manager, you’ll lead by example, overseeing operations during your shift and fostering a positive environment where our passion for authentic Italian cuisine shines through.

Responsibilities
* Be in charge of the restaurant floor and kitchen, ensuring everything runs like clockwork.
* Uphold cleanliness, food safety, and operational procedures in both front-of-house and back-of-house areas.
* Oversee the kitchen and dining area, ensuring quality in every dish; assist with preparing amazing dishes as part of the team.
* Be the go-to person for front and back of house staff.
* Proactively address challenges and make quick, effective decisions to ensure seamless service.
* Engage warmly with guests, help them explore the menu, offer personalized recommendations and answer questions with passion.
* Train new team members and keep the current crew sharp with ongoing training sessions.
* Manage shifts and time-off requests to keep the restaurant fully staffed.
* Handle cash and reconcile transactions with precision and honesty.
* Assist with budget planning and finding smart ways to control costs.
* Conduct regular Food and Health & Safety checks and take action when needed.
* Keep the vibe positive, even during busy shifts.
Who you are
* Solid experience as a Shift Manager or in a similar role in hospitality.
* Natural leader who motivates and guides a team with positive energy.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; can connect with staff and customers.
* Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.
* Genuine passion for great food and hospitality.
* Thrive in a collaborative environment and help the team achieve goals.
* Aspiring to grow with the company as we expand.
* Bonus: experience in coffee, wine, and pasta is advantageous.
