About This Role:
We are seeking a Relationship Banker (SAFE) to join our National Branch Network within the Consumer, Small & Business Banking division. This role is perfect for those looking to build meaningful relationships with customers while providing top-notch banking services.
As a Relationship Banker LP (SAFE), you will start your journey with us in a temporary position until you complete the necessary licensing requirements. Once licensed, you’ll transition into the full Relationship Banker (SAFE) role.
Your Responsibilities:
* Build strong relationships with customers by understanding their needs.
* Identify opportunities to offer a full range of Wells Fargo retail banking products and services.
* Analyze business challenges related to providing a full-service banking experience.
* Resolve inquiries and service requests regarding customer accounts.
* Open and service accounts, creating follow-up plans for customer engagement.
* Enhance customer experience by collaborating with internal partners.
* Connect customers with appropriate partners or relationship managers.
* Provide self-service digital banking options to customers.
* Ensure compliance with the SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act and related regulations.
What We’re Looking For:
Required Qualifications:
* 2+ years of customer service experience or equivalent.
* 1+ year of experience in assessing customer needs and resolving issues.
* 1+ year of experience building effective relationships with customers and partners.
Desired Qualifications:
* Completion of FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 examinations (or equivalents).
* State Insurance license(s).
* Strong customer service focus with experience in handling transactions.
* Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
* Ability to proactively manage customer relationships and identify their needs.
* Experience in mentoring and coaching peers.
* Knowledge of retail compliance controls and risk management.
Working Conditions:
* Ability to work a schedule that may include most Saturdays.
* Adherence to Wells Fargo's sales practices and risk management culture.
* Current registration for FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 is required or must be completed within a specified period.
* State Insurance license(s) must be obtained within a specified timeframe.
* This position requires SAFE registration upon employment.
