The position of Production Specialist is dynamic and quite versatile in its daily tasks. Working as part of the Pharma Services Business Unit, you will support the Manufacturing / Packaging Technical Operations department to monitor and drive departmental KPIs and objectives. You will support the GMP (Clinical and/or Commercial) Manufacturing / Packaging group to ensure essential elements are in place to allow operations to commence and run to scheduled timelines. You will review Manufacturing / Packaging processes and implement process improvements. We have opportunities available to join us as Production Specialist in our Packaging and Manufacturing teams. Production Specialist (Packaging Operations) Responsibilities will include: Investigate deviations from GMP and where appropriate help develop suitable corrective actions and ensure regular and effective trending of non-compliances and deviations, including monthly KPI reporting Raise and Investigate customer complaints related to packaging activities and monitor due and overdue departmental quality management system (QMS) records. Assist in delivering new Business & approved business projects and liaise between Production and other departments, especially Quality & Client Services regarding queries/requests ensuring close out in a timely manner. Conduct any additional administrative duties associated with the position Production Specialist (Manufacturing Operations) Responsibilities will include: Raise, investigate and execute Quality documentations, Investigate customer complaints related to manufacturing activities and monitor due and overdue departmental quality management system (QMS) records. Generate and maintain KPI statistics showing departmental performance against business objectives and communicate / present findings to production management on a monthly basis and assess production line utilisation and overall equipment efficiency whilst assisting production management in forecasting and capacity planning. Support validation activities within the department including new equipment qualification and generate data repositories to capture critical process parameters (CPPs) Refer to the attached Job Descriptions and Person Specification for each role for full details and further information.
