Technical Business Analyst (Payments)
Responsibilities:
* Provide expert knowledge support (both theoretical and practical) across financial products and the downstream processes linked to these products.
* Elicit and document clear business requirements from stakeholders and subject matter experts, adding further specifications as needed.
* Collaborate closely with Product Owners to refine and enhance our Investor Services platform to meet these requirements.
* Engage in backlog refinement, grooming, and prioritization sessions to ensure alignment and clarity of project goals.
* Facilitate coordination between European teams and clients/internal teams globally, particularly in the US, EU, and Asia.
* Identify and address any gaps in the acceptance criteria and contribute to the testing processes to ensure comprehensive coverage.
Qualifications:
* In-depth knowledge of financial products and a solid understanding of their market lifecycle, including confirmation, settlement, collateral management, and reconciliation.
* Familiarity with industry-standard practices and common systems/services (e.g., Bloomberg, Reuters) is a plus.
* Ability to effectively bridge the gap between client requirements and technical solutions, thanks to a strong technical or financial development or quantitative background.
What Would Make You Stand Out:
* Previous experience in a tier-1 banking environment.
* Proficiency with SWIFT systems.
* Experience with SSI storage and validations using SWIFT reference data.
* Knowledge of FX instruments, such as FX Spot and FX Forward.
