Virtualisation Engineer (VMware/vSphere/Horizon) SC Cleared Nottingham
(Inside IR35) | On site 5 days | Contract to 31 March 2027 + likely extension

A central government client is looking for an experienced Virtualisation Engineer to join an established infrastructure team in Nottingham. This is a long-standing programme so its a genuinely stable, long-term contract with a strong likelihood of extension (612 months beyond March 2027).

Youll be project-focused, building and maintaining the virtualisation estate, with some BAU and technical support as required. Youll need to be hands-on and confident owning the platform end to end.

Essential

• Expert-level VMware vSphere, ESXi and Horizon VDI (build, upgrade, management)
• Windows Server 2012(R2), 2016 and 2019
• HPE Servers and data centre management
• Active Directory and core networking
• Comfortable joining an on-call rota (1 week in 4)
