Our brand-new hotel in the heart of Belfast City is now looking for an Assistant Maintenance Manager who's hands-on, high energy and ready to help keep things running like a dream behind the scenes.
Your Mission:
As Assistant Maintenance Manager, you'll be the right hand to our Maintenance Manager—supporting daily operations, tackling quick fixes, and keeping the big picture in mind, all while making sure the Moxy energy stays alive
What You'll Be Doing:
* Support & Lead – assist the Maintenance Manager in overseeing maintenance operations, and step up when needed.
* Safety First – help ensure compliance with safety, fire, and health regulations.
* Teamwork – coordinate with your small but mighty team, contractors, and other departments.
* Hands-On Help – get involved in routine checks, emergency repairs, and day-to-day problem solving.
* Upkeep – maintain equipment, plumbing, electrical systems, and the overall property.
* Communicate Clearly – keep everyone in the loop with clear, positive communication.
What We're Looking For:
* Experience – proven background in maintenance or engineering, ideally within hospitality.
* Team Player – able to support the manager and motivate the team.
* Problem Solver – cool under pressure, with a knack for finding solutions quickly.
* Flexible & Positive – ready to face challenges with determination and a smile.
