This is an exciting opportunity for a Band 7 Lead Nutritional Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our established Nutritional Team on a 12 month secondment to cover Maternity Leave. We are looking for an enthusiastic team player who will participate in innovation and evidence based nursing practice through professional leadership to enhance the patients experience from referral through to procedures dealing with any concerns and supporting the clinical teams. Main duties of the job You will be responsible for the teams quality improvement plan and leading the team with continuous quality improvement, ensuring compliance with the team statutory and mandatory training programme, lead effective appraisals and will need to provide leadership and mentoring, and will act as a positive role model for junior staff in a manner that positively reflects the values of the organisation. You will be responsible for managing, directing and leading the nursing team with inclusivity, compassion, and commitment.
