Overview
An exciting opportunity to work with a world-leading global organisation. Manpower is looking for a Business Administration Apprentice to join their team. The role is based at the client’s facility in Port Sunlight with future opportunities for hybrid working. This is a full-time temporary role for 18 months with a view to extend, working a 37.5-hour week from Monday to Friday. Salary: £18,000 – £22,000 per annum.
The successful candidate will gain real on-the-job experience plus pursue a Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship to support their career aspirations. The apprenticeship will include hands-on experience in recruitment processes, onboarding of employees, and the administrative tasks associated with these functions.
The apprentice will work with a friendly and experienced team and gain exposure to both white-collar and blue-collar environments, providing a well-rounded understanding of workplace dynamics.
Job purpose
To achieve agreed targets by ensuring the effective fulfilment of SLAs through the management of back-office activities.
Responsibilities
* Participate in the onboarding of all new associates and industrial placement students
* Assist with payroll and respond to associates’ queries
* Assist associates with day-to-day queries and requests
* Provide administrative support to Delivery Consultants and Managers
* Ensure accurate maintenance of associate information
* Ensure all activity complies with company policies, procedures and legal requirements including health and safety and employment legislation
* Issue clear and timely communications with internal and external key stakeholders with updates on HR matters
* Participate in and support disciplinary action, evaluation and processes for employees
* Obtain feedback from clients and associates on the service provided and take corrective action as necessary
* Ensure work aligns with Manpower’s values and standards
* Other ad hoc duties and project work as required
Personal attributes
* Confidence to approach new challenges
* Ability to liaise with employees from all backgrounds and positions
* Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and Word

* The Apprentice will be expected to fully commit to the apprenticeship programme, including meeting coursework deadlines, attending scheduled training sessions, and actively participating in learning activities
