We are always looking for exceptional individuals to join our multinational group of talented professionals and right now we are seeking to recruit a motivated and talented Senior Software Developer to join our team in Wallingford, Oxfordshire.
In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, maintenance, and testing of application software products that are commercially successful, highly valued by our customers, and aligned with the company’s strategic goals. Working within an Agile team environment, you will develop key software components at any stage of the product life cycle, from inception through to maintenance of released products.
Key Responsibilities
* Write reliable, maintainable code for software product components.
* Contribute to a high-performing Agile team, driving continuous improvement of processes, code execution, and feature development.
* Follow and enhance automated testing methods.
* Support the development of software architectures and frameworks promoting re-use and maintainability.
* Maintain excellent version control and follow build and release processes.
* Gather and refine product functional requirements, define software behaviour, and implement software components.
* Contribute to work package estimation and deliver software work packages within agreed stakeholder timeframes.
* Support customers directly or through the Technical Support Group where appropriate.
Experience, Skills & Qualifications
* Experience with Agile Scrum, Jira (or similar), and strict source-code control.
* Familiarity with UX development tools and software architecture best practices.
* Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
* Collaborative team player with enthusiasm for technology and continuous learning.
