A well-established and high-performing 11–18 secondary school in south Warwickshire is seeking an experienced and strategic School Business Manager to join its senior leadership and operations team from January 2026.
This is a pivotal role within the school, working closely with the Headteacher and Governors to ensure the smooth and effective management of finance, estates, HR and operational services. The Role
You will provide strategic oversight of the school’s non-teaching operations while remaining hands-on where required. The role combines long-term planning with day-to-day operational leadership and requires strong organisational, financial and interpersonal skills.
Key responsibilities include:
* Strategic financial planning, budget setting and monitoring
* Oversight of procurement, contracts and value-for-money initiatives
* Line management of finance, admin and site teams
* Supporting HR processes including recruitment, staffing structures and payroll liaison
* Working with senior leaders on estates development and long-term resource planning
