Job Description
Owen Daniels are supporting a leading manufacturer within the precision engineering and advanced manufacturing sector is seeking an experienced Senior Quality Engineer to join their growing quality team. The business supplies high-integrity components and systems into demanding industries such as aerospace, HVAC, energy, heat exchangers, and industrial manufacturing, where quality, compliance, and continuous improvement are critical.
This is a key role offering autonomy, visibility across the business, and the opportunity to influence quality strategy at both operational and senior levels.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead and support quality assurance activities across manufacturing and supply chain operations
2. Act as the technical quality authority for internal teams, customers, and suppliers
3. Manage and resolve non-conformances, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)
4. Drive continuous improvement using tools such as 8D, FMEA, SPC, and Pareto analysis
5. Support and lead internal and external audits (ISO 9001 / AS9100 or equivalent)
