Our client is a well-established UK manufacturer based in Great Barr, with over 100 years of expertise and a reputation for excellence in the engineering sector. With a £5m annual turnover, a loyal workforce, and customers across the globe, they are now looking to strengthen their team with a driven Sales Administrator. Salary is up to £27,5000 depending on experience and benefits include 33 days holiday including Bank Holidays, every 3rd Friday of the month, you will receive an early finish at 3:30pm and free car parking. Hours 8:30am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday. Please note this position is 5 days office based. You'll be at the heart of customer relationships - turning enquiries into orders, creating competitive quotes, and working closely with both technical experts and production teams to deliver outstanding results. As the Sales Administrator, you will: Handle customer enquiries via phone and email in a timely and professional manner Provide accurate information on pricing, stock, and availability Produce and follow up on quotations, ensuring details are tracked and recorded Liaise with suppliers regarding products outside of in-house manufacturing Process and monitor sales orders, proactively communicating updates to customers Support sales growth through effective relationship management and order development Share insights on market and competitor activity with the wider team Follow established processes, procedures, and quality standards As the Sales Administrator, you will have: Strong communicator with excellent telephone skills IT literate, with solid knowledge of MS Office (Excel & Outlook essential) Experience with Zoho software is an advantage, however, this is not essential Background in engineering sales would be beneficial, however, this is not essential Flexible, reliable, and driven with a strong work ethic Positive, professional, and adaptable, with a willingness to learn and embrace change INDLS
