We are a fast-growing B2B publisher in the financial services and employee benefits sector, with thousands of subscribers in over 100 countries. Our events team is growing and we are looking for an Event Manager to support the team deliver our roundtables, conferences, to residential summits and awards ceremonies.
What you'll be up to...
Your role involves delivering exceptional customer service while keeping a close eye on deadlines and budgets. You'll oversee the entire logistics of our events, ensuring a smooth execution of our event portfolio.
* Handpick and coordinate with suppliers, covering everything from venue selection to AV setups and signage requirements.
* Facilitate sponsor kick-off calls and work with the sales and campaigns delivery teams to manage the delivery of sponsorship packages.
* Collaborate with our editorial team to craft conference agendas and coordinate with pre-event speakers.
* Skilfully plan budgets and keep a tight rein on direct event expenses.
* Let your creativity flow as you come up with innovative event ideas and marketing plans for the events.
* Take charge of travel arrangements and bookings.
* Be the driving force behind flawless on-site event management, always keeping the customer experience front and centre.
* Wrap it all up with a thorough post-event analysis, evaluating the event, generating insightful reports, and closing out budgets.

What we’d like to you know... (but we could teach you some of these things)
* While prior experience in B2B events is a plus, it's not a strict requirement.
* Familiarity with various systems, including Cvent or similar platforms, email marketing software, CRM, and WordPress, would be advantageous.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office is expected, with a particular emphasis on Excel.
