About the Role: You will play a pivotal role in the procurement of materials and subcontract services, this role requires extensive knowledge of NEC contracts and experience managing procurement within a major infrastructure environment. You will be responsible for supporting cost-effective purchasing decisions, developing strong supply chain relationships, and ensuring compliance with commercial and contractual obligations. Your Key Responsibilities Will Include: Managing end-to-end procurement processes, ensuring quality, budget, and schedule objectives are met. Procuring subcontract packages and negotiating agreements under NEC contract terms. Collaborating with internal teams to align procurement activity with project requirements. Maintaining relationships with key suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring performance standards are met. Identifying cost-saving opportunities and contributing to continuous improvement of supply chain strategies. Ensuring compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and applicable legislation. About You: You will have a proven background in infrastructure or rail procurement, ideally within a large-scale project environment, and possess a detailed understanding of NEC subcontractor procurement. Essential requirements: Demonstrable experience working with NEC subcontractors. Strong commercial and contractual awareness. Proven track record in a Senior Buyer or similar procurement role within the infrastructure sector. Excellent negotiation, communication, and supplier management skills.
