Marks Sattin is partnering with a large, market-leading service organization in Leeds to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant. This PE backed business is currently expanding its finance function, looking to add ambitious individual looking to accelerate their career! This role is focused on financial optimization and provides a platform to make a real impact on business performance. You will join a finance team that is supportive, ambitious, and focused on professional development. Key Responsibilities: Preparing monthly management accounts, including detailed variance analysis and commentary. Monitoring and reporting on KPIs to support strategic decision-making. Assisting in budgeting and forecasting processes to ensure alignment with business goals. Collaborating with department heads to deliver actionable financial guidance. Developing and enhancing financial models and reporting tools to drive efficiency. Performing balance sheet reconciliations and supporting year-end audit requirements. What we are looking for: Ideally studying towards an ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification. Proficiency in Excel is essential. Exposure to data visualization tools or ERP systems (e.g., D365, NetSuite) is preferred. Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work independently. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines. On Offer: Salary: Up to £38,000. Benefits: 24 days holiday and a pension scheme. Location: Leeds, fully on-site.
