About the Role:
Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting for an experienced and passionate SEND Teacher to work in the resource unit of a primary school. This role is ideal for someone dedicated to supporting children with high and complex needs, delivering tailored, high-quality education within a nurturing and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver personalised learning programmes for pupils with complex SEND
* Work closely with multidisciplinary teams including therapists, support staff, and families
* Monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly
* Maintain detailed records and contribute to EHCP reviews and reports
* Foster a positive, supportive classroom environment that encourages development and independence
About You:
* Qualified teacher status (QTS) with experience working in SEND or resource unit settings
* Skilled in supporting children with complex needs, including communication and physical challenges
* Strong knowledge of SEND frameworks and legislation
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Committed to inclusive education and continuous professional development
