Making A Difference is a short breaks respite service that provides activities in the community for children and young people with learning disabilities in Medway.
We are actively seeking reliable, caring support workers for weekdays after school and weekend day support in the community.
Your role will be to support children / young people to enjoy social activities in the community either on a 1-1 or 2-1 basis while parents take a break from their caring role.
Activities may include things such as bowling, swimming, cinema, shopping, parks & soft play centres and our aim is to help young people to reach their full potential and most of all have fun

Key Requirements:
* Ability to communicate effectively with children, young people, parents and colleagues.
* Experience in supporting young people with learning disabilities and/or behaviours that may challenge.
* To work confidently alone and as part of a team.
* Driver with use of own vehicle
