TITLE: Service & Installation Engineer - Balers & Compactors
SALARY: £42,000 plus Vehicle, Mobile & Pension
LOCATION: This is a UK-wide position that will involve occasional travel and overnight stays. The ideal candidate will be based between Wakefield and Nottingham, with convenient access to the A1 or M1—locations such as Doncaster, Sheffield, Worksop, Newark, or Chesterfield would be well suited

ROLE: Service & Installation Engineer - Balers & Compactors
This role involves the installation and servicing of compactors and balers, with regular travel to customer sites across the UK. You will be responsible for accurately recording all completed work while maintaining close communication with the office throughout each installation to ensure smooth coordination and high-quality service delivery.
EXPERIENCE: Service & Installation Engineer - Balers & Compactors
You will be a qualified engineer, ideally with a mechanical background and 17th or 18th edition certification, or electrically qualified with strong multiskilling ability. PLC experience is not essential, as manufacturer support will be provided. The role requires flexibility to travel across the UK with occasional overnight stays. Previous experience with balers and compactors would be highly beneficial, though expertise with other heavy-duty static plant such as shredders, crushers, or power screens will also be considered. Candidates with experience in the recycling, waste management, quarry, or aggregates sectors are particularly encouraged to apply. A UK driving licence is essential for this role.
