Vickerstock is delighted to be working with a young, ambitious design consultancy to support in the recruitment of a Geotechnical Engineer. Founded in 2021 as a specialist water & infrastructure business, this company has experienced rapid yet sustainable growth, expanding their service offerings to meet client needs. Alongside their core services, they now provide Structural Engineering (both buildings and heavy civils) and Geotechnical Engineering through highly experienced industry experts.
Your new role as a Geotechnical Engineer
You will work alongside the newly appointed Associate Director for Geotechnical Engineering, providing expert support on a range of built environment projects including water & wastewater, civil infrastructure, and temporary works schemes. You will have the opportunity to work on various ground engineering projects such as slope stability analysis, deep basements, load-bearing piles, retaining walls, and embankment design.
What you will need to succeed as a Geotechnical Engineer
1. A degree in Civil Engineering
2. A minimum of 1-year post-graduate experience in designing ground engineering projects within a consultancy or piling contractor
3. Commitment to career development and pursuing CEng status with ICE or similar
