eHealth Operations oversee the IT and Telecommunication services, including infrastructure, applications, information security, and compliance, supporting the health and corporate directorates across NHSGGC.
The Technical Services Manager will have key responsibilities including:
1. Leading support teams managing digital systems across primary, secondary, community, and mental health services.
2. Managing application, network, and infrastructure technical support teams to resolve complex issues.
3. Developing NHSGGC Digital Infrastructure to meet organizational needs.
4. Aligning operational systems and support with the Digital as Usual Strategy.
5. Acting as a senior leader within the Operations and eHealth management teams.
6. Ensuring systems and teams operate securely and in line with policies.
7. Promoting continual service improvements across Operations and eHealth.
8. Managing staff in accordance with board policies and supporting their development.
9. Overseeing budgets and contracts to achieve value for money.
10. Implementing service improvements and supporting wider initiatives.
11. Leading collaborations with third parties on service design, SLAs, and maintenance.
We seek an experienced eHealth Manager with strategic experience in eHealth services, capable of working with senior management and clinicians. The role requires engagement with NHSGGC’s Digital Delivery plan, with strong skills in operational support, financial management, KPI development, and SLA management.
Applicants should have a Degree, preferably a Masters, or equivalent professional experience, along with ITIL qualifications. Essential skills include leadership, team-working, communication, organizational, commercial awareness, customer focus, analytical, and planning skills. Experience in service provision, supplier management, project delivery, and health data is highly desirable.
