Quality Technician – Glenfield
We are seeking to recruit a Nightshift Quality Technician at our busy site at Glenfield, Cowdenbeath. Please note you must be able to reliably commute to and from work.
The role is full time, working 40 hours per week, covering nightshift, 2230 – 0600. This also includes a Sunday shift (12 hours) on a set rotation, 1 every 4 weeks, but these will be included within a 40-hour standard working week.
Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Quality Technician role is a critical role within the technical team and the successful candidate will be required to provide day-to-day technical support and work independently as well as part of a team. The successful candidate must have ability to use their own initiative and think logically, with a high level of attention to detail.
The role involves, but is not limited to:
· Testing of samples for chemistry, quality, and organoleptic properties in onsite lab; reporting any out of specification results at time of testing.
· Conduct swabbing (environmental/food contact) and collect production samples for external analysis as per routine schedule.
· Conduct visual inspections and ATP swabbing post-hygiene on all food contact equipment prior to release for production.
· Carrying out GMP and Glass & Hard Plastic Audits.
· Carry out Hygiene Audits
· Completion of daily tasks to a high standard.
