Rate of Pay: £15.25 - £19.93 per hour
Summary
We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Bexley to assist with the appointment of a Personal Advisor, on a 12-month contract, highly likely to be extended at client discretion. Support young people aged 18–25 transitioning from care into independent adulthood. Manage a caseload, providing tailored advice, guidance, and practical support to help care leavers achieve positive outcomes in education, employment, housing, and wellbeing.
Responsibilities
* Manage a caseload of care leavers and deliver high-quality support
* Complete assessments of need and develop Pathway Plans
* Monitor and review progress against Pathway Plans
* Provide 1:1 support, advocacy, and guidance
* Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners
Qualifications
* Relevant qualification in social care, youth work, or equivalent experience
Essential Requirements
* Experience working with young people or vulnerable groups
* Strong understanding of safeguarding and multi-agency working
* Ability to manage a caseload and meet deadlines
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
* Knowledge of Pathway Planning or willingness to learn
* Flexible to travel (including occasional overnight stays if required)
