We are seeking a Client Manager to join our team based in Cheltenham. Your role as a Client Manager will be to manage a diverse portfolio of clients, support junior members of the team as well as office growth.
Brief Job Description
* Managing a portfolio of corporate and personal tax clients, acting as the primary point of contact
* Reviewing year-end statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders, ensuring compliance with UK accounting standards
* Reviewing corporation tax computations and returns prior to submission
* Reviewing personal tax returns for accuracy and completeness
* Providing detailed feedback to Accounts Technicians and junior team members to support development and maintain quality standards
* Identifying training needs within the team and assisting with mentoring and technical support where appropriate
* Ensuring statutory accounts and tax returns are submitted in line with Companies House and HMRC deadlines
* Dealing with client queries via phone, email and in person where required
* Holding regular client meetings to review financial performance, discuss tax matters and identify planning opportunities
* Identifying and pitching additional services to existing and prospective clients
* Working collaboratively with other managers and team members to meet departmental and firm-wide targets
* Liaising with the Outsourcing and Management Accounts team to ensure delivery of a complete service to larger clients
* Working alongside Advisory and Specialist teams within the Group to identify opportunities and support wider advisory projects
* Monitoring workflow and managing deadlines across your client portfolio
