Role Overview
As a Part-Time Care Assistant, you will provide essential support to individuals living in their own homes, helping them maintain independence, dignity, and comfort. Your responsibilities will include:
* Providing personal care such as washing, dressing, and supporting personal hygiene with dignity and respect
* Assisting with meal preparation, shopping, and light household tasks
* Offering companionship, conversation, and emotional support
* Prompting or administering medication according to care plans
* Observing and reporting any changes in wellbeing to the office or on-call team
* Travelling within Swadlincote (fuel allowance provided)
* Working part-time hours, with flexibility around weekdays and weekends depending on your availability and rota needs

Requirements
* Full UK driving licence
* Access to your own vehicle
* Availability for part-time hours
* A caring, reliable, and compassionate approach
* A positive attitude and willingness to learn

What We Offer
* A rewarding part-time role supporting people in their own homes
* Competitive pay rates:
o Unqualified Carers: £12.65–£19.80 per hour
o Qualified Carers (Level 2+): £13.10–£21.30 per hour
* 35p per mile fuel allowance
* £5 per month data allowance payment
* Full in-house training and induction based in our Swadlincote office
* Shadowing shifts, competencies, and support before independent work
* A friendly, supportive team environment
* Oncall service during out of hours for support and advice
