Do you consider yourself to have excellent customer service skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships? We have a 12-month opportunity for a Customer Accounts Officer to work with customers regarding arrears management.
While this role may not appeal to everyone, you will see the benefits of providing a strong, supportive service. As a Customer Accounts Officer in the home ownership team, you will work with leaseholders to maintain a robust arrears management programme.
Your responsibilities will include following up on service charge arrears, negotiating repayment plans, handling calls and emails, and visiting customers at their homes to understand their circumstances and achieve positive outcomes for both parties.
You will identify customers needing support and signpost them to relevant agencies or internal departments, building strong relationships along the way.
This is a part-time role, 18.5 hours per week, with flexible working patterns.
About You
Excellent customer service skills are essential, and you understand how this can lead to positive outcomes. You will be a great communicator, able to adapt your style to your audience, and competent in written communication for formal discussions.
You should have knowledge of rent and service charge arrears recovery, be a strong administrator capable of working to deadlines, maintaining records, and managing fluctuating workloads.
