* Full time Maternity Cover (37 Hours) Temporary for up to one year
Working Hours
8.30am - 16.30pm
Key Responsibilities
* Provide a professional and friendly front‑of‑house service to visitors and customers
* Handle enquiries and service requests efficiently via telephone, email, and in person
* Manage bookings for events, ensuring compliance with legal and customer requirements
* Support the management of building operations, including monitoring requests and coordinating repairs
* Maintain accurate records, statistics, and documentation to support service delivery
* Assist with administrative support, including work for the Register Office (e.g. certificates, filing, indexing)
* Process payments using cash and card systems
* Ensure reception and public areas are presentable and welcoming at all times
* Promote equality, diversity, and inclusion in all aspects of work
* Support a safe, secure, and compliant working environment

* Has experience working collaboratively in a team
* Delivers excellent customer service, even in challenging situations
* Can effectively manage workload and meet deadlines
* Demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal skills with the public
* Has good administrative and IT skills, with high attention to detail
* Is self‑motivated and able to work on their own initiative
