Responsibilities
* Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, to ensure successful project delivery.
* Build and lead a team of construction professionals, including subcontractors and suppliers, to execute projects effectively.
* Manage all subcontract packages throughout the build process.
* Ensure all health and safety requirements are adhered to at all times.
* Oversee the design process from RIBA stage 3 to RIBA stage 6.
* Maintain the highest standards of quality and safety throughout the construction process, adhering to industry regulations and company standards.
* Monitor project budgets, control costs, and identify cost‑saving opportunities without compromising quality.
* Identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
* Maintain regular communication with stakeholders, providing project updates and addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
* Manage project schedules, ensuring that milestones are met and projects are completed on time.
* Coordinate the procurement of materials and equipment required for construction projects.
* Review and negotiate contracts with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors.
* Ensure all construction activities comply with regulations and building codes.
* Report to the Construction Director.
* Travel to multiple sites across the UK.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field (preferred).
* Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager, with a strong background in residential conversions and refurbishments.
* Knowledge of construction management software and tools.
* Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
* Advanced skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
