Main duties of the job
You will work as part of a team with the aim of:
* Understanding your clients
* Keeping them safe
* Creating a plan they can achieve with your support
* Checking in with them and reviewing their progress
* Keeping accurate and timely records of your contact with them
* Working effectively with other social care providers e.g. Housing, to cover all aspects of their successful recovery
* Continuously learning and reflecting to improve the outcomes for your clients
* Supporting your colleagues across the service to deliver excellent care

As a Recovery Worker in our Criminal Justice team, you will support and advise people experiencing difficulties due to substance misuse. You will manage your own caseload, working as part of our team and alongside other social care services to identify how we can help. You will develop plans with your clients to help them regain control of their lives. We approach each case professionally and without judgement, focusing on support. You will carry out assessments and maintain accurate records, which are part of our commitment to our clients and commissioners. Person Specification
Qualifications
* ONC/NVQ level 3 or willingness to achieve within 12 months
Experience
* Experience in health, social care or related setting
* Ability to build and maintain effective relationships
* Teamwork skills and supporting others
* Resilience under pressure and prioritization skills
* Good communication skills, both oral and written
* Comfort with IT and digital media
* Organizational and time management skills
* Flexibility in working hours and locations as needed
