Senior Customer Care Administrator

Portico GB Ltd is a leading subcontractor to the new build industry based in Woolpit near Bury St Edmunds who supply and install windows, doors, conservatories and wardrobe systems. We are looking for an organised and detail‑oriented professional to supervise our customer care team.

Job type: Full Time, Permanent
Location: Woolpit, Bury St Edmunds
Working Hours: 37 Hours Per Week, Monday to Friday
Salary: Excellent salary based on experience

Key Responsibilities

* Supervise the members of the customer care team to ensure daily tasks are achieved.
* Assign workloads as required to ensure the KPIs are met.
* Report to customers on the progress of their customer care accounts on a weekly basis.
* Assist with booking appointments with customers in occupied properties.
* Coordinate with Service Engineers to attend appointments.
* Raise delivery notes and invoices.
* Update information on our systems for feedback to the principal contractors.
* Deal with incoming calls and email enquiries in a professional and friendly manner.
* Take information from the SAPs system and update jobs on our and the principal contractors’ system.
* Manage your own workload and work with the team to ensure coverage.
* Oversee the completion of invoicing in the department.


Person Specification

* Previous experience in a customer care or administrative role is essential.
* Experience within the new build industry would be an advantage.
* Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
* Personable and adaptable with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Can work well within a team as well as independently.
* Effective time management skills.
* Excellent computer skills including Excel; Sage experience is advantageous but training will be provided.
* Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
* Ability to meet deadlines.
* Ability to delegate work effectively.
* Ability to support other team members to ensure tasks are completed in a timely, efficient and accurate manner.
