We are looking for a Billing Assistant to join our Billing team at our office in Kings Hill, West Malling.
Joining us on a full-time, 37.5 hour per week basis you will work in a hybrid capacity with 2 days per week based at the Kings Hill office.
Purpose of the role
To assist with all aspects of billing for our Health Care & Social Care divisions. This includes day‑to‑day support to the Billing team, ensuring accurate invoicing throughout the month and at month‑end, adherence to policies and maintenance of relationships with sites and internal departments.
Main duties of the job
* Update and maintain sales day books on a daily basis from our ward census
* Chase and liaise with sites to ensure correct information is provided in line with procedures and audit requirements
* Assist with invoicing and crediting where needed
* Assist with data and information requests for the finance department and senior management teams
* Maintain transport cost log, perform correct checks and invoice accurately
* Produce all invoices for sites at month‑end in line with tight deadlines
* Perform ad‑hoc tasks as and when needed
Qualifications and experience
* Experience working in an office environment
* Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft packages including Excel
* Knowledge of billing processes is desirable
* Experience of hybrid working is desirable
* Successful candidates will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check
