Cisilion has the exciting opportunity for a Service Transition Manager to join them on a permanent basis. This role is on a hybrid basis with c. 1 day a week spent in our Leatherhead, Surrey office.

The Service Transition Managers’ role is ultimately responsible for the successful onboarding of new contracts into our Service Centre and Client Success Teams.
Working closely with and setting the standards via Professional Services, Pre-Sales, Project Management and Support Services, the Service Transition Manager ensures that the final delivery of each service meets the agreed customer and stakeholder requirements as specified in the agreed contract. This will entail stakeholder sign off at all levels as appropriate prior to ‘going live’.
The role will manage the service transition from design specifications (proposal & service description), dealing with change, configuration, test, release and deployment and every step in between. The Service Transition Manager will manage business needs and ensure efficiencies are achieved with minimal risk, maximum optimisation with a high degree of confidence.
This is a client facing role and the appointed person must have excellent client communication skills. They must also understand the fundamentals of service management using a standard framework such as ITIL.
PROCESS
The Key Success Factor in this role will be the ability to manage expectations within the Cisilion business and Customer alike regarding mandatory deliverables and associated sign-off protocols. This will thereafter lead to quality transition of services and ultimately the smooth support taken on without ambiguity.
EXPERIENCE
* Understanding of Cisco and/or Microsoft technologies and experience of managing transitions based on at least one of these (technical knowledge required to understand the products but do not need to have technical conversations)
* Experience of managing business to business transitions, not just internal company ones
* Experience of setting up services based upon our Managed Services portfolio - experience of taking a contract and turning it into reality.
* Able to work directly with clients to set up and document operational processes
* Manage the transition as a project ensuring delivery on time and within scope and budget.
* Commercial awareness to understand deviation/change and to ensure services are billed on time.
* ITIL accredited
