The Role
You'll become part of a friendly, warm and fun team who support one gentleman and two ladies with learning disabilities to live in their own shared home. The great thing about this job is no two days are ever the same.
Your main aim will be supporting with their day to day needs, including shopping, finances, cooking, housework and medication. With all 3 individuals enjoying an active lifestyle, we'll need you to be enthusiastic about supporting them all with various activities both in and outside their home. Their hobbies and interests include boccia, zumba, walking, day trips, gardening, arts & crafts, swimming, pool, darts and going for a pint.
About You
You don't need experience to start your career with us; we recruit on values and transferrable skills. We'll pay you for your training and give you all the practical skills you'll need. We'll even fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification and yearly SSSC registration fees too!
All we’ll need you to bring is: -

5. Confidence in the use of computers.
Shift Patterns
As we're dedicated to providing around the clock support tailored to the needs of each individual, shift patterns include early mornings, days and evenings. Sleepovers, weekends and public holidays would also form part of your rota on a rotational basis.
Our sleepovers do not form part of your contracted hours, you will receive an additional £.80 payment for each sleepover that you work!
