About the role:
Raytheon UK are hiring a Production Associates, you will work within an electronics manufacturing facility at our Livingston site.
Day shift is 37 hours – 07:30 – 17:18 Mon - Wed, 07:30 – 07:06 Thu
We are offering full training to ensure you can be successful within the role, your first few weeks will be part of a training programme to provide you with the necessary knowledge and skills.
Skills and Experience
Essential:
1. Previous experience in a similar environment / role
2. Good manual dexterity
3. Basic PC skills
4. Quality focused, a high emphasis on the importance of quality to the customer
5. Able to work both independently and as part of a team
6. Required to pass basic eye test (including colour blindness)
Desirable:
7. Previous electronics and mechanical assembly experience
8. Good communication skills
9. Organisational skills
Responsibilities
To perform production related tasks required in daily operations within one of the manufacturing business areas.
Tasks may include:
10. Soldering and inspection to ANSI-J STD/IPC610
11. Mechanical and wiring assembly
12. Kit preparation
13. Bonding and coating.
14. Testing of assemblies and sub-assemblies using specialised equipment
