Street Cleansing Team Leader 37 Hours per week, Permanent contract £26,421 - £30,296 per annum About us We are seeking an experienced Road Sweeper Driver to assist with the delivery of the street cleansing service. The role requires the individual to lead and supervise the street cleansing team and be responsible for allocated vehicles and other resources to ensure safe, efficient and customer focused delivery of street cleansing services in accordance with the Council’s operational and service delivery standards and requirements. You will need to work in accordance with the Councils policies and procedures, including safe methods of working at all times. The role holder will also need to demonstrate excellent customer care, behaving at all times in a professional and courteous manner. You will also be expected to support your colleagues and teams to ensure service delivery across all operational aspects of the environmental services remit. This is a key role as the front face of the Council in the community and we are looking for someone who feels they can rise to the role. About you The successful candidate will have: At least 12 months experience of working with the public and delivering high levels of customer satisfaction in a face-to-face role. Experience of supervising or managing staff Experience of dealing effectively with situations involving conflict with others At least 12 months experience of driving class C vehicles Experience of making routine service decisions in accordance with established procedures Training Certification in Road Sweeper operation.
